My grandmother had surgery on her elbow on Saturday. She was cleared for it by her primary doctor and her cardiologist, and she was fine in the immediate hours after the operation. But on Sunday, things began to deteriorate when she started hallucinating, and she was moved to the ICU. Her blood sugar levels were high, her kidneys began to fail, and her pacemaker wasn't working. New Hobby
I'm not participating in Script Frenzy or even Camp NaNoWriMo this month, which is so strange to me. Of course, we're only 10 days in, so I could maybe start something.
However, it's not likely. I've picked up a new hobby that I love so much. It's tactile, and it's different, and I'm catching on fast.

My mother finally dug out a book she has from Leisure Arts with diagrams for both left handed and right handed people. She didn't feel comfortable teaching me since I'm a leftie. I live by a pretty strict set of guidelines when it comes to music - stick with what you know. I don't listen to the radio. I don't check out new artists. I don't really enjoy many things that aren't rock or musical theater.
And then a little show called Hamilton walked into my life and changed everything. It's hip hop. It's about history. It's everything I hate.
Yet somehow, I love it. I gave it a small chance, just to see what it's all about, but now I'm obsessed.

Holy crap you are insane with those word counts! I'm still just barely shy of 20k drat it all. But it's still 20k more than I had to begin with and new job has been nutso which doesn't make it easy to write around lo0l
